"Mika" at the 2011 Sydney Royal Easter Show
Mika arrived as a 9 week-old puppy and has a special bond with Maseru. The two older girls accepted her well and used her as the “bunny” in their chasing games.
Mika has a fantastic nature and gets on with all people and dogs. After her first season at 9 months old, she developed a more outgoing personality and drives the 3 older dogs insane with her constant desire to play.
Mika is a well-constructed and very pretty bitch; a great blend of Wazazi and Jebelmarra lines.
She is a nice 'typey' bitch that has done well in the ring, despite her taking a while to learn what to do. It took great patience to show her that it was not all a 'game'. Mika has come into her own and is becoming hard to go past in the ring.

Uzuri is the baby of the family. She has a lovely, sweet nature and her motto is “I do not want any trouble”. She loves Maseru, suffering terrible puppy teeth-marks on her neck when he was young; Uzuri allowed him to use her as a 'play toy'.
She loves being cuddled and will sit on your lap all day if allowed. She is a very special girl, not having lost her puppy streak, she will play with Mika and Maseru.
Although sweet, she is a formidable hunter and spends most days hunting birds and at night goes on possum look out. She is bold in the hunt and usually leads the pack.
Uzuri loves people and has an easy-going personality.
Uzuri is well-constructed, fine and gazelle-like. She has a pretty head, excellent double curl and well-set tail. She has great movement and is a stand out bitch.

Our beloved Tepy, is the exact opposite of her litter sister, Uzuri. Tepy is the matriarch of the pack and rules with an "iron fist".
Her reprimands are swift and sincere. The other dogs revere her as leader and are quite happy for her to rule.
She loves to play but on her terms. She is never the “bunny” being chased. When she has finished playing she lets everyone know.
Tepy is not overly cuddly, but does enjoy a short cuddle from time to time. She is very smart and like her sister, is a formidable hunter.
Tepy, when hunting, resembles a lioness. She stalks with great patience and stealth, until she is in striking range. Fortunately, her hunts are often foiled by the other 3 impatient Basenjis she lives with.
She is a great matriarch to have. She is tranquil and keeps the others in order and keeps the peace.
Tepy is a calm Basenji and gets on well with most other dogs (especially the boys).
